Best Matcha to Use:

  • Ceremonial Matcha → for a smooth, vibrant flavor and bright green hue (ideal if you love authentic Japanese-style tea).

  • Everyday Matcha → for a stronger, more robust taste that pairs beautifully with milk or sweeteners.

🍃 Ingredients (Serves 1–2)

  • 1½ tsp matcha (Ceremonial or Everyday)

  • ½ cup hot water (80°C – not boiling)

  • ½ cup milk of choice (oat, almond, dairy, or soy)

  • 1–2 tbsp sweetener (honey, brown sugar syrup, or maple syrup)

  • ½ cup cooked tapioca pearls (boba)

  • Ice cubes

  1. Prepare Boba:

    • Boil tapioca pearls as per package instructions (usually 5–7 minutes).

    • Drain and soak in brown sugar syrup or honey for extra flavor.

  2. Make Matcha Base:

  3. Assemble:

    • Add cooked boba pearls to the bottom of a glass.

    • Fill halfway with ice cubes.
