Made with Ceremonial Matcha, this matcha recipe balances the sweetness of winter strawberries with the smooth, vibrant flavor of high-quality matcha. Itโs a fun, cafรฉ-style drink that feels both seasonal and comforting, perfect for chilly afternoons or a sweet weekend treat.
๐Ingredients (Serves 1โ2)
For the Strawberry Base:
๐ ยฝ cup fresh strawberries (hulled and chopped)
๐1โ2 tbsp sugar, honey, or maple syrup
๐ 1โ2 tbsp water
๐For the Matcha Layer:
๐ 1โ2 tsp Ceremonial Matcha
๐ 2โ3 tbsp warm water (not boiling, around 70โ80ยฐC)
๐For the Latte:
๐ ยพ to 1 cup chilled milk (dairy or plant-based)
๐ ยฝ cup cooked tapioca pearls (boba)
๐ Ice cubes
๐How to Make It
โจ Prepare the boba
๐ Cook the tapioca pearls according to the packet instructions.
๐ Toss with a little sugar or honey to keep them soft and glossy.
โจ Make the strawberry purรฉe
๐ In a small pan or blender, combine strawberries, sugar, and water.
๐ Mash or blend until smooth.
๐ Chill for a few minutes.
