The Matcha Mojito is a refreshing, vibrant drink that combines the earthy flavor of matcha with minty citrus notes. Perfect for summer or brunch, and easy to make either as a virgin mocktail or an alcoholic cocktail.

Best Matcha to Use:

  • Ceremonial Matcha β†’ for a premium, refined flavor and vibrant green color.

  • Everyday Matcha β†’ works if you want a stronger, earthier taste and don’t mind a slightly less delicate profile.

(Optional alcoholic version: add white rum or vodka for a classic matcha cocktail twist.)

Ingredients (Serves 1)

πŸƒ 1 tsp Bree Everyday Matcha (sifted)

πŸƒ Β½ cup hot water (80Β°C, not boiling)

πŸƒ Β½ lime (juice only)

πŸƒ 1–2 tsp sugar or honey (optional)

πŸƒ 6–8 fresh mint leaves

πŸƒ 100 ml soda water / sparkling water

πŸƒ Ice cubes

πŸƒ Mint sprig and lime wheel for garnish

πŸƒ Optional: 50 ml white rum or vodka for alcoholic version

Instructions

πŸƒ Whisk Matcha with hot water until smooth and frothy.

πŸƒ In a glass, muddle mint leaves with lime juice and sugar/honey.

πŸƒ Add ice cubes to the glass.

πŸƒ Pour matcha over the ice and mint mixture.

πŸƒ Top with soda water or sparkling water. Stir gently.

πŸƒ Garnish with a mint sprig and lime wheel.
