๐Ÿ“ŒIngredients (Serves 2)

๐Ÿƒ 1 tsp Everyday Matcha (sifted)

๐Ÿƒ 1 cup water

๐Ÿƒ 1 cup milk (or almond/oat milk)

๐Ÿƒ ยฝ inch fresh ginger (sliced)

๐Ÿƒ 2โ€“3 cardamom pods (crushed)

๐Ÿƒ 1 small cinnamon stick

๐Ÿƒ 2โ€“3 cloves

๐Ÿƒ 1 tsp black tea leaves (optional, for a deeper chai base)

๐Ÿƒ 1โ€“2 tsp honey or jaggery, to taste

๐Ÿ“ŒInstructions

๐Ÿƒ Take a saucepan, boil together ginger, cardamom, cinnamon, and cloves for 3-4 mins.

๐Ÿƒ Add milk and sweetener. Simmer again until aromatic.

๐Ÿƒ Turn off the heat and strain into a cup.

๐Ÿƒ In a bowl, whisk matcha with 2tbsp warm water until you get a smooth and frothy texture.ย
